For Primary pupils, we offer a flexible bus service that can be taken on either a regular or an ad hoc basis (CHF 20 for a single trip). Parents can choose the day(s), and select morning and/or afternoon.
Annual fees for a return trip vary according to your home address but are between CHF 3’500 and CHF 4’300.
Currently, there are two routes depending on demand:

Pupils can also bring a healthy packed lunch from home.
All pupils eat in the Dining Room (Primary) or the Grand Café (Secondary) where a pleasant environment and good table manners are promoted by staff.
Our after school care facility, available for Primary only, provides a secure, welcoming, personalised environment for children after the end of the school day or following after-school activities.
The after school care team help children with their homework and offer interesting and varied activities every day, including theme-based painting, drawing, board and outdoor games, songs, stories, dancing, cooking and computing.
The service runs on school days from 15:30 to 18:00, except on Wednesdays when it runs from 12:30 until 18:00.

50 hours per term: CHF 660
100 hours per term: CHF 1’220

We provide an extensive range of extra-curricular activities at lunchtime and after school. Most are run by our enthusiastic staff members at no cost. A few select activities such as street dance, ballet, judo, playball or golf are taught by external teachers and payable.
Activities help equip children with a range of important skills and attributes such as commitment, confidence, creativity and craftsmanship. With a choice of over 80 activities over the two campuses each year there is plenty to inspire every child to take part and develop their interest beyond the curriculum.
In keeping with the majority of schools in Switzerland, GES does not have a formal school uniform. We encourage pupils to dress suitably for the activities of a busy school day with sensible shoes and comfortable seasonal clothing.
All pupils are, however, supplied with a GES PE kit which is worn for all sports and PE activities (CHF 85). It consists of:
a PE polo shirt
a PE top (house colours for Primary, navy blue for Secondary)
For PE activities, colder weather and school trips, parents can purchase other GES branded clothing, eg.:
